Drilling hose, in geological and petroleum rotary drilling, the need to pass high pressure to transport large volume fluid mud to the drill bit, the rotary drilling hose and hose assembly used as flexible connectors in mud conveying pipeline.
The rotary drilling hose is used between the top of the riser and the rotary joint running up and down. Marine mud transfer hoses are used for high-pressure mud transfer between barges and offshore RIGS.
The shorter shock absorbing hose was used between the pump and the rig, the riser manifold, to accommodate different axial properties and isolate vibration.
Construction:
Inner tube: Principally NBR constructed, featuring oil-resistant, abrasion-resistant, acid and alkali resistant.
Reinforcement: 2-8 layers spiraled by single high-strength steel wire and rubber as a binder to make the layers into one complete and sound construction.
Cover: Primarily CR fabricated, featuring oil-resistant, abrasion-resistant, weatherproof an anti-aging.
Working pressure: 5000psi to 15000psi
Working Temperature：-30 °C to +100 °C(-22 ℉ to +212 ℉)
Connection: Hammer union or API Flange
